SCALES OF BEAUTIFUL

All the beauty in the world,
could eclipse the sky,
or smile luminous,
in a child’s eye,

whisper
on the philosopher’s tongue,
solidified to gray,
as aging hopes sway,

deep as spirit,
bright as sun,
faith’s symphony,
Imagination’s breath…

beyond the tortured gardens,
my silences left.
